Analysis of Studies about Academic Anxiety: A Thematic Review

چکیده

The aim of this research was to analyze academic anxiety studies in the literature using thematic review method and determine current trend field. In research, a meta-synthesis study carried out including 61 studies, 3 which were theses 58 articles, published between 1981-2021. used accessed Dissertations Theses Global-Proquest, Eric-EBSCOhost, MEDLINE, Science Direct, Scopus, SpringerLink, Taylor Francis Online, Wiley, ULAKBIM, YÖK Thesis Center Google Scholar databases. Published articles or about determining nature included study. examined relationship with more than one variable investigated it determined that most focused on examining differences based demographic variables. survey model frequently chosen method, qualitative methods not sufficiently used. mostly by questionnaire high school level age groups sample 101-300 people. Therefore, order carry new larger working groups, examine students at higher education reviews, scale development adaptation for are needed. addition, there limited number experimental conducted reducing student anxiety. Survey relational quantitative needs be supported methods.
